PTTEP Indonesia received Best Environmental Excellence Award from the 17th Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards 2025

On 26 February 2025 PTTEP Indonesia received an award from The 17th Annual Global CSR & ESG Summit and Awards 2025 in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in the category of Best Environmental Excellence Award in Gold level for the Integrated Waste Management Program.

PTTEP Indonesia has initiated this program with the former Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment and has developed into a comprehensive waste management facility. PTTEP Indonesia is also committed to assisting the government with the waste management issue in various prioritized tourist destinations in Indonesia, namely Lake Toba in North Sumatra and Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara.

The program achieved its objective to reduce the local government's burden caused by improper waste management and encouraged the local community to be more caring about their environment, while at the same time creating a circular economy to improve their livelihoods.
