PTTEP Indonesia hopes that the presence of a clean water well in Lewobunga Village can have a positive impact on the community's quality of life, environmental quality, public health, and community productivity. As an implementation of corporate social responsibility to provide attention to the community, PTTEP Indonesia prioritizes the 6th Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs regarding Clean Water and Sanitation. Clean water is the most important part of life because water quality affects greatly on health and daily life. |
The drilling process began on 16 April 2024. During the drilling process, the technical team experienced several obstacles such as hard rock formation and damaged drilling equipment. However, this is not an obstacle for the drilling technical team to get clean water. At exactly 85 meters, drilling stopped and the team attempted a pumping test. As a result, the water obtained meets expectations with a discharge of 4-5 cubic meters per hour. This is a fairly large water source that will be utilized by the residents of Lewobunga Village, East Adonara District. |
